Worthing Kitchen Project

This project was a complete transformation of the heart of the home!

We opened up the space to create a spacious, light-filled kitchen and utility room by installing new steel beams and columns to allow the removal of a small toilet and load-bearing walls. We replaced the old flat roof with a modern fiberglass GRP roof system, dramatically improving thermal insulation for warmth and energy efficiency, and added two large double-glazed lanterns with solar-controlled, self-cleaning glass.

We installed a completely new electrical system, including excellent new features like LED shadow strip lights on the inside of the lanterns. We removed the original floor to allow the Ashley James Group to install a new underfloor heating system, finished with LVT flooring throughout. We installed a new kitchen, utility room, and downstairs toilet suite, incorporating a space-saving Eclisse pocket door system.

All work was carried out in accordance with architectural drawings and structural calculations, and was signed off by Building Control.
